I thought it was interesting how they lived like in the middle of them...
So, it is illegal to go swimming on the east coast of Taiwan.

Ya, that is where the ocean suddenly gets incredibly deep.
It just sucks you right on in!
Many foreigners die every year swimming on the east coast, because they don't believe it.

He got his face tattoos, first (the forehead) for becoming a man, and second for killing 3 wild boars.
The second method is fairly new, you used to have to go out and kill someone in an opposing tribe.
And carry their head back.
